Ihasnochille 2015

Last year was the first complete year of the new Ihasnochille channel. After a long hiatus the channel had been rethought out so that three Let’s Plays would be running at the same time. Half-Life’s completion allowed for LPs which began under the channel revamp to have the same sort of commentary where episodes of different LPs were recorded around the same time as each other. Previously Ihasnotomato did one LP at a time, meaning more episodes of the same thing. Realising he had a bigger audience after the G-Man theory video’s success and the sudden increase of subscribers he chose a format which could deliver both variety and consistency.

I am Ihasnoleek, by the way.

So the format he chose started the year with the return of Half-Life/Black Mesa and the introduction of two new LPs; Ocarina of Time and Fallout: New Vegas. Interestingly only what I call ‘slot 1’ (Half-Life/Quantum Conundrum/Psychonauts) has featured LPs that have started and ended. Slots 2 (Fallout: New Vegas) and 3 (Ocarina of Time and Silent Hill 2) have only featured LPs that have started and not ended. However Ocarina of Time is looking to be finishing before Fallout: New Vegas due to the immense length of New Vegas. So hopefully sometime this year one of those LPs will finish and a new LP will be introduced alongside Psychonauts depending on how long Psychonauts is.

Meanwhile, Psychonauts is an interesting game with in-your-face characters and a wacky story, so please have a look at any episode of the LP. Note: Every episode has the word ‘mind’ in it.

Finally! and Return of Ocarina

The Finale for a Let’s Play that replaced Half-Life in the schedule has been released, and if you have not seen it then you are surely missing out on something.

I am Ihasnoleek and, for those who are not aware, “Let’s Play Quantum Conundrum part 27 – Finale” was uploaded yesterday on the 11^th of December 2014. The episode began with Ihasnotomato explaining how to finish the last proper puzzle before story-related puzzles started appearing. It ended with him discussing the possibility of a Let’s Play of the Downloadable Content (DLC) expansion to the game, explaining that he does not actually own the DLC. For those interested in the music clip played during the outro of each episode during the LP, the full song is played during the credits and is called “Flip a Switch”, being made specifically for the game.

Ihasnotomato released a Garry’s Mod/Team Fortress 2 music video of the song around the time he first completed the game back in 2012.

Also, Let’s Play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with Erren has returned! A new thumbnail was created to celebrate the comeback, but interestingly it was only used for episodes in which the Forest Temple was being played through. Does this mean future temples will have their own thumbnails? Only time will tell.

Why there were no videos

Hello people,

Recently there have been no videos on the Ihasnochille channel and that is because Ihasnotomato was busy working the past few weeks. However today he released a new video which suggests things may be back on track.

Back to Tasmania

Hello, Ihasnoleek here!

Ihasnotomato has just informed me that he will be tending to some family duties in Tasmania for the next five days, returning on Tuesday. This means videos will not be uploaded while he is away. It was a bit sudden and he hadn’t prepared any videos announcing it, so he asked me to do a blog post.

He will be returning on Tuesday coming.

New LP

News tonight!

Ihasnotomato has launched his new spooky Let’s Play of Silent Hill 2. The series replaces ‘Zelda: Ocarina of Time with Erren’ in the schedule and will be a feature of the Ihasnochille channel. That brings up something else as well!

 

This is his new icon and he also states he is Ihasnopumpkin in the Silent Hill 2 LP as well. I was hoping the channel art would change as well, but I suppose either he’s working on a new schedule or it’s just convenient that there’s no Ocarina of Time with Erren recorded.

Meanwhile the Ihasnochille channel has resumed uploading and here are the latest new videos as of now:

Hello and again.

Hi everyone,

My name is Ihasnoleek and I will be posting on the Ihasnotomato Blog from now on. I hope to post new things at least once a month about events involving the Ihasnotomato channel and Ihasnochille channel.

You may be wondering why Ihasnolettuce or Ihasnochille aren’t posting to the blog anymore. Ihasnolettuce has been banned from using Ihasnotomato’s computer and Ihasnochille has seemed to have lost interest. So a few days ago I offered my services to Ihasnotomato, having noticed the blog was looking pretty lonely.

So let’s go through the things that have happened since the last post was made back in August 2012.

Nothing really happened after the Half-Life LP began apart from it turning into a Black Mesa Let’s Play part of the way through. Then, as most of you will know, there were no new uploads until the Ihasnochille channel came back. The Ihasnotomato channel never left and occasionally uploads were made to that channel. The Chille channel had no new uploads until around Christmas time when a ‘season’s greetings’ video was uploaded to both channels. Then a new year’s video was uploaded to Chille explaining that Ihasnotomato wasn’t uploading because he was studying. Then the channel came back properly, starting two new Let’s Plays (Fallout: New Vegas and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with Erren) and continuing the Half-Life/Black Mesa LP.

Then after the Half-Life LP finished Quantum Conundrum took its place. Then for a week there were no uploads because Ihasnotomato had to go on a short holiday and then, most recently, he went on a holiday for a month. But now he’s back, so things will resume.

Anyway, now that the catch-up is done, let’s talk about future LPs, because when I was discussing with Ihasnotomato about what the blog could be used for I reminded him that it used to be used to decide what the next LP would be. He responded saying that he’d already planned the next 3-4 Let’s Plays, so I figured on my first blog post I could think up possibilities for what they could be.

Here are my thoughts of possible Let’s Plays:

• Half-Life: Blue Shift


• Half-Life: Opposing Force


• World of Goo


• Antichamber (although he hasn’t finished it yet)


• Batman: Arkham Asylum/City

At the moment the Ocarina of Time with Erren LP is in between recording sessions, so it is unlikely that any of my LP ideas will replace the Ocarina of Time one before Fallout or Quantum Conundrum. However I have a feeling he’s near the end of Quantum Conundrum and then he’ll finish Fallout. I think Zelda is going to be like Half-Life where it will take a long time to complete, however not for the same reasons.

Anyway, I have been Ihasnoleek and this has been a blog post about things involving the Ihasnotomato and Chille channels.

PS: I noticed Fallout: New Vegas had been planned for a long time, since August 4^th 2011!
